Well I’ve finally got round to posting some photos of my move to Valdivia. It’s been all go and I’ve spent a shed load of money, for me anyway, on equiping the house, fridge washing machine, bed etc, etc, etc. Let’s start with where I am for those of you who don’t know Chile. Here’s an image from googleearth, the yellow pin indicates the location of Valdivia in South America. (Click on the images to view them full size)

\nThe next image is of the Region de Los Rios, the region of which Valdivia is the capital. The yellow pins indicate Valdivia and on the coast Calfuco where the marine station is, and where I’ll be working most of the time.

\nThe next image is of Valdivia and indicates where my house is in relation to the main campus of the university on the Isla Teja.

\nSo that’s the geography out of the way, now some photos of the house. It what you might call a basement appartment \ud83d\ude42 It has one large bedroom and a living room, between the two is a wide passage which forms the kitchen, behind the living room is another small bedroom, and behind that the bathroom.
